This album was written entirely on the Long Island Rail Road. It is a tribute to the Lower Montauk Branch, which was recently closed forever.

Branch is a reference to the original name of the Mineola station. It was the station of departure for me when I took the Lower Montauk Branch to work and wrote these songs.
