This is an emo-electro track beeped out by a lonely robot, searching in desperation for someone to whom he can relate. Seriously though, after seeing Trash80 live, I set up Midines again and got to work. I forgot how much fun effects can be when used with Nintendo sounds. Enjoy, all you sad little robots.
What started out as a happy hardcore track went horribly wrong, and now we’re left with this 180 BPM psytrance crime scene.
This is my favorite of the new stuff I’ve created over the past month or so. Enjoy.
Yes I’ve been hiding out. So what? I actually have a number of new tracks that I just haven’t gotten around to recording it yet, so sit tight for more Gameboy goodness to come. In the meantime, what could be better than a cheesy-ass remix of an old pop trance song I wrote like a billion years ago? I can’t think of anything, as a matter of fact, so here it is.
This horrific little nugget of Oakenfold chicanery was to be released for a British label under the devastatingly clever name “Soul Doubt” (which turned out to be taken by a Christian band, I believe). We went back and forth on changes, and then I became completely disillusioned with the whole project, but not before producing several mixes, including this one.
